They reported that at the meeting, President Xi noted during his state visit to Viet Nam in April, the two sides had reached important common perceptions on advancing the building of a China – Viet Nam community with a shared future in the new situation. He emphasised the need for their ministries, sectors, and localities to step up implementation and promote the China – Viet Nam Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to yield more substantive results.
On this occasion, the top Chinese leader extended congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and affirmed that China supports Viet Nam in successfully organising the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam. He also expressed his wish to increase sharing state governance experience, maintain high-level exchanges, and fostering strategic cooperation between the two countries.
The media also highlighted President Xi’s proposals of promoting collaboration in areas such as connectivity, digital economy, artificial intelligence (AI), and experience-sharing in building free trade zones and special economic zones, thereby contributing to modernisation in each country.
He added that the two sides should continue to successfully organise activities marking the 75th anniversary of China – Viet Nam diplomatic relations and the “Red Journey” study and exchange programme in China for Vietnamese youth, as well as initiate more public-oriented projects, the press outlets reported.
