Scientists, managers and policy-makers gathered at the two-day forum to discuss and share matters related to public governance, measures to remodel public administration in the OECD and Asia, challenges to public administration reforms in the future, as well as public-private co-operation in the public sector.

Ideas raised at the forum’s six sessions will help boost co-operation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea and share experiences of implementing plans and solutions on public administration reforms.

The forum will also discuss Vietnam’s recent governance reforms, including the revamp of current public governance procedures, enhancement of legal planning for sustainable development and e-government applications.

In addition, delegates will exchange experiences in organising and managing labour forces in the public sector.

The forum is jointly organised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Political Academy of Zone 1, the OECD Korea Policy Centre and the Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA).
