Thang Long Imperial Citadel holds exhibitions to celebrate August Revolution and National Day

On August 19, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site (Ba Dinh Ward, Ha Noi), the Thang Long–Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Centre will coordinate with relevant units to organise a series of three exhibitions to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).

Ha Noi police rehearse for 'Festival for a Peaceful Capital' parade

The Ha Noi Department of Public Security on August 7 organised a rehearsal for a parade around Hoan Kiem Lake in celebration of the “Festival for a Peaceful Capital" and in preparation for personnel deployment to ensure security and public order for activities marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945–2025).

President offers incense at revolution cradle in Tuyen Quang

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2 - also the date of death of President Ho Chi Minh), President Nguyen Xuan Phuc offered incense in commemoration of the late leader at Na Nua tent in Tan Trao special national relic site in the northern province of Tuyen Quang on September 4.
