In pictures: First joint rehearsal held for National Day parade
The first rehearsal for the military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day was held on June 25 at three locations in Ha Noi.
There were 1,296 officers and soldiers in attendance at National Military Training Centre 4.
Other rehearsal sites included Vietnam National University, with 2,917 officers and soldiers; and the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, with 3,200 personnel.
The armed forces are organised into 11 static formations and 27 marching blocks, with a total of 7,413 officers and soldiers. A total of 1,296 personnel took part in rehearsals at National Military Training Centre 4. Throughout the training process, the units regularly adjusted their drills to suit the weather conditions and the quality requirements of each stage.

A delegation of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly (NA), the State President, the Government, and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee laid a wreath and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on September 1 morning on the occasion of the country's 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025).
