According to statistics from the Binh Dinh Provincial Department of Tourism, in 2024, the number of international visitors to Binh Dinh was estimated at 93,850, an increase of 17.3% compared to 2023. Meanwhile, domestic visitors reached 9,106,150, an 85% increase from the previous year. Revenue in 2024 was estimated at 25.5 trillion VND (compared to 16.4 trillion VND in 2023), a 55.4% increase from 2023.
This is a positive sign for the province's tourism industry, reflecting continuous efforts to improve tourism infrastructure and promote the region's image.
The year 2024 also saw the success of many cultural and sports events organised by the province, attracting large numbers of visitors. Public holidays, festivals, and special events have played a significant role in promoting Binh Dinh's image and attracting tourists.

According to reports, the total number of overnight stays at hotels in the province has reached over 4.53 million, a 26.5% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This growth indicates that Binh Dinh has become a popular destination, attracting not only day visitors but also overnight stays, thanks to its increasingly developed accommodation system and improved service quality.
Tran Van Thanh, Director of the Binh Dinh Provincial Department of Tourism, stated that over the years, Binh Dinh has continued to establish itself as an attractive tourism destination, drawing more domestic and international tourists. The tourism activities in the province have undergone significant changes, contributing importantly to the local socio-economic development.
Binh Dinh’s tourism industry has experienced rapid growth and is now considered one of the fastest-growing tourism areas in Vietnam. Many organisations and individuals in the local tourism business have received prestigious awards in the field, especially as Quy Nhon City has been recognised for the second time with the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award in 2024.

Many promotional and marketing activities to introduce Quy Nhon-Binh Dinh as a tourist destination have been effectively organised both domestically and internationally, alongside digital transformation in tourism. Additionally, state management in the tourism sector has been strengthened to ensure sustainable development and safety for tourists, according to Thanh.
The impressive figures in 2024 demonstrate that Binh Dinh's tourism industry is on a strong growth trajectory. In the future, the province will continue to intensify tourism promotion efforts, improve infrastructure and services, and maintain its development momentum to attract more visitors to explore and experience the beauty of the region.
