Binh Dinh welcomes over 8 million visitors in nine months

Binh Dinh Province received more than 8 million visitors with a total revenue of over 22.7 trillion VND in the first nine months of this year, up nearly 88% in terms of the number of visitors and up 57% in terms of revenue over the previous year.

Binh Dinh tourism industry sees a strong breakthrough in 2024.

The information was released at a conference held by the Binh Dinh Department of Tourism on September 27 to review summer tourism activities in 2024.

Huynh Cao Nhat, Deputy Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, said that the province successfully organised many major national and international events in 2024 that contributed to promoting the image of Binh Dinh tourism, such as: Amazing Binh Dinh Fest 2024, Quy Nhon - Sea Paradise, Shining and Developing, VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2024, Binh Dinh Sea Quintessence Festival and the Tourism, and Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity programme, among others.

At the conference, the Department of Tourism also observed the World Tourism Day and proposed solutions for local tourism development, focusing on improving service quality and developing new and unique tourism products.
