The seminar was held within the framework of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024.

In his opening remarks, Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee Dang Quang Tu expressed hope that the seminar would provide a multidimensional perspective and interdisciplinary approach to discuss and analyse the roles and values of natural resources, biodiversity, and local culture in Da Lat, proposing initiatives and solutions to establish Da Lat as a model for green growth, a modern tourism-service city.

At the seminar, domestic and international experts, scientists, and managers exchanged ideas and proposed specific solutions to develop Da Lat's tourism in a green direction. This includes sustainable development that gradually enhances cultural industries linked to local tourism and developing music tourism products based on Da Lat's status as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.

The participants also highlighted the potential and advantages of Da Lat City in attracting investment in tourism, culture, and music sectors.

Da Lat has long been a popular tourist destination both domestically and internationally. In 2024, the city expects to welcome over 7.9 million visitors, a 21% increase year-on-year, including more than 540,000 foreigners.
