On December 14, the city hosted the art programme “Bao Loc – City of Tea and Silk” as part of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival.
In his opening remarks, Chairman of Bao Loc City People’s Committee Ngo Van Ninh highlighted Bao Loc’s long-standing reputation as Vietnam’s tea and silk capital, owing to its nature-endowed resources and the hard work of generations.
The event celebrated the region’s rich culture and economic contributions, featuring performances showcasing its transformation from a remote land into a dynamic city over 130 years, while preserving its tranquil charm. Bao Loc’s iconic tea plantations, silkworm farms, and breathtaking orchids continue to mesmerise visitors, embodying the harmonious blend of tradition and progress.
