The total tourism revenue is estimated to reach 46.46 trillion VND (1.83 billion USD).

In 2024, the number of domestic tourists participating in spring festivals, summer domestic visitors, autumn-winter international tourists, and those visiting during holiday periods has seen strong growth. Local districts, towns, cities, and several departments have actively organised many cultural, artistic, sports, and commercial activities and events. They have also developed new tourism products linked to the region’s tourism resources, contributing to the recovery and strong development of tourism in Quang Ninh.

Quang Ninh has been widely recognised as a destination with diverse experiences throughout all four seasons: heritage and natural tourism in Ha Long, cultural and spiritual tourism in Uong Bi and Dong Trieu, community-based tourism showcasing ethnic minority cultures in Binh Lieu and Tien Yen, border tourism in Mong Cai, and others.

In 2024, Quang Ninh also recorded a significant increase in international visitors. The top 10 international tourist markets to Quang Ninh remain stable, including China, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), the US, India, France, Australia, the UK, Germany, and Japan. Notably, the Indian market has seen promising growth with tours from Indian billionaires and companies.

With synchronised infrastructure and continuous efforts from the government and businesses, the tourism sector is striving to assert its leading role, becoming a key economic industry that drives rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, contributing positively to the province’s economic restructuring.
