Localities diversify travel experience for tourists on national reunification holiday

The Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism inaugurated the Da Nang Beach Flowers Walk 2025 on April 30, aiming to adding vibrant colours to the city’s coastal space.

The event is also among activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (1975-2025).

The space stretches nearly 2 kilometres from the Vo Van Kiet-Vo Nguyen Giap intersection to the Vo Nguyen Giap-Hoang Ke Viem intersection.

It is decorated with clusters of flowers and colourful foliage combined with artistic lighting effects arranged along the sidewalk of the Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road.

On the evening of April 29, at the Sapa National Tourist Area, the Lao Cai Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the 2025 Summer Festival under the theme “Sapa - The Land of Love.”

According to Do Van Tan, Vice Chairman of the Sa Pa Town People's Committee, the event is among the joint effort of the local Party, authorities, and people to preserve and promote ethnic cultural identity and beautiful natural landscapes of Sapa Town, thus contributing to affirming its position on the tourism map of Vietnam and internationally.

In the festive atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the revolutionary homeland of Tan Trao in Son Duong District, Tuyen Quang Province, has been bustling with many tourists.

On April 30, the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site welcomed a surge in tourists compared to previous years, with about 44,000 visitors.

In addition to learning the country’s history, visitors to the site can also experience traditional cultural activities of the Tay ethnic group, such as pounding rice, weaving fabric, fishing, and making traditional dishes.

During the five-day reunification day holiday, visitors to the Trang An Ecotourism Area in Ninh Binh Province can enjoy many attractive tourism promotional programmes, including art performances, folk games, lantern releasing, and vehicle parades.
