It is estimated that the province has received 19 million visitors in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 20%. This figure includes 3.5 million international tourists.
Revenue from tourism has reached 46.46 trillion VND, up 38% compared to 2023.
To achieve its goal for 2025, the province has plans to improve service quality, diversify tourism products, and expand travel destinations.
This year, the province introduced nearly 70 new tourism products, including the Carnaval Ha Long 2024, The Lighthouse Entertainment Complex, luxury yacht services, and the Heritage Journey tour series.
The province has also approved 21 new routes for Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay tours, along with 29 additional products which are scheduled to be launched by the year-end.
In addition, the local hospitality sector has worked to further promote its iconic attractions such as Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and the Yen Tu national relic site.
