Preliminary reports indicate that accommodations rated three stars and above were fully booked, compelling many tourist groups to seek lodging in areas tens of kilometres away from Dong Hoi City.
Renowned sites within the Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Natural Heritage area, such as Phong Nha Cave, Paradise Cave, Chay River–Toi Cave, and Mooc Spring, were teeming with visitors. Long queues formed early in the morning as tourists eagerly awaited opportunities to explore the caves and engage in water-based activities, including ziplining over the Chay River.
Over the four-day holiday period, tourist routes and attractions managed by the Phong Nha-Ke Bang Tourism Centre welcomed nearly 40,000 visitors. Other tours and tourism products organised by various enterprises also experienced high attendance.
