Specifically, the total number of tourist arrivals to Quang Ninh during the four days was estimated at 1,006,000, including 84,200 international visitors. There were 420,000 overnight stays, and total tourism revenue was estimated at 2,766 billion VND.
Several localities recorded sharp increases in visitor numbers, including Ha Long City with 125,000 visitors, Mong Cai with 42,770 visitors, Uong Bi with 19,500 visitors, Van Don with 25,000 visitors, and Co To Island District with 4,000 visitors.
The Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage Site remained a top attraction for domestic and international tourists, with 17,000 visitors, including 6,200 international visitors.
Other popular destinations included Sun World Park with 10,000 visitors, Quang Ninh Museum with 7,700 visitors, Yen Tu historical site with around 3,000 visitors, Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh hot spring resort with around 480 visitors, Cai Chien island with around 700 visitors, and Mong Cai border gate (international arrivals) with 4,811 entries.
Earlier, Quang Ninh took a proactive approach in preparing for the influx of tourists during the peak holiday period. Departments, local authorities, and tourism businesses throughout the province made thorough and detailed preparations, offering a wide range of vibrant cultural and tourism activities that provided engaging spaces for both domestic and international guests.
Tourism businesses were also required to comply with regulations on price registration and clear price listings for goods and services. Environmental and business condition monitoring was actively enforced by functional forces and relevant agencies throughout the holiday and the upcoming summer peak tourism season.
