Since 2012, the exchange has officially been part of the Book Reading Festival held by the volunteer organisation ‘Vong tay be ban’ to encourage a reading habit and increase knowledge for disadvantage children in Ba Vi.

The event is going to take place from 9am to 4pm on July 28, giving book lovers the opportunity to exchange their old books for new ones and take part in book-related activities including a roundtable named ‘Reading books with your children’, a fundraising concert ‘A book represents a love’, and an exhibition ‘Photovoice’ featuring photos of young volunteers with Ba Vi children.

All the books and money garnered at the event will be donated to help needy kids in the locality with their schooling.
