Titled "Promoting National Development and Progress", the book contributes to the theoretical and practical review of the process of national construction, defence, renewal and integration.
Nearly 500 pages are divided into three parts including: “Following the example and continuing the legacy of the Party and State’s outstanding leaders”, “Strengthening the construction of an increasingly clean and robust political system”, and “Advancing comprehensive renovation, consolidating and expanding Vietnam’s friendship and cooperation with countries in the region and worldwide”.
Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet was born on October 8, 1942, into a farming family in Phu An Commune, Ben Cat District, Binh Duong Province.
In his role as a Politburo Member and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, he made significant contributions to promoting national renewal, strengthening and consolidating Vietnam’s cooperation and friendship with neighbouring countries, as well as other nations in the region and worldwide. He continued to uphold the Party and State’s foreign policy: “Vietnam is ready to be a friend and a reliable partner to all countries in the international community, actively participating in regional and global cooperation processes”.
