It highlights key moments, such as the establishment of the 203rd Tank Regiment and the Armoured Command on June 22, 1965, marking a significant advancement for Vietnam's armoured forces.
According to Colonel Nguyen Khac Nguyet, from the initial battle at Ta May-Lang Vay to the Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the assault on Saigon-Gia Dinh, Vietnam's armoured forces participated in 14 campaigns and 211 battles.
With high determination and courageous spirit, the forces achieved significant victories that contributed to the overall success of the Vietnam People’s Army.
The Armoured Corps was honoured with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State in recognition of their excellent services to the country.
