The Ministry of Health held the awards ceremony for the inaugural “Green-Clean-Beautiful Healthcare Facilities” contest, in Ha Noi, on August 7. The event marked a significant step forward for the health sector in creating a safe, friendly, and sustainable healthcare environment for the benefit of patients.
The contest, launched in August 2024 under the direction of the Ministry of Health and organised by the Department of Disease Control and Suc Khoe & Doi Song (Health & Life) newspaper, with the support of the Long Chau vaccination and pharmacy system, quickly gained widespread support from the entire healthcare network – from central to local levels, as well as the private sector.

The contest also demonstrated the sector’s determination to improve the quality of healthcare services, serving as a practical initiative to realise the Party and State’s policies on protecting public health in tandem with environmental protection and sustainable development.
Nearly 350,000 patients, their relatives, and members of the public participated in surveys and provided feedback via QR codes. This figure is more than just a statistic – it represents the voices and contributions that help the healthcare sector improve quality based on real needs, turning the slogan “towards patient satisfaction” into a measurable commitment.

At the ceremony, the Organising Committee presented certificates and trophies to 20 medical facilities. The awards were structured across five levels of medical facilities: central, provincial, district (now known as regional), commune, and private healthcare facilities. Each level had one first prize, one second prize, one third prize, and one consolation prize.
