Political parties in France affirmed that they always make efforts to support and contribute to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

At the meetings, the two sides shared information on the situation of each party and country; exchanging much practical content to strengthen relations, in which they agreed to promote the exchange of delegations, enhance the exchange of experience, policy dialogues, theoretical seminars and cooperation at multilateral forums; as well as expand cooperation between the specialised agencies of each party.

At the meeting with representatives of the Communist Party of France (CPF), the two sides agreed to coordinate to prepare for a webinar themed “President Ho Chi Minh with the French Communist Party and Marseille” which will take place in early December, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's arrival in Marseille, the first destination in his journey to find a way to save the country.

The two sides underscored that this seminar will provide a good opportunity to honour President Ho Chi Minh as well as educate the younger generation about the time-honoured relationship and solidarity between the two Parties.

They also discussed a plan to organise the fourth theoretical seminar between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the French Communist Party.

Previously, in the UK, Nguyen Thi Hoang Van also had a meeting with representatives of the Communist Party of Britain.
