The number of foreign tourists was estimated at 14,500, a surge of 32% compared to the same period last year.

Lam Dong’s accommodation and catering services revenue rose by 54% to 5.9 trillion VND (254.6 million USD), mainly from food and beverage services, which brought in 4.8 trillion VND, up 48.15% against the first half of 2021.

Such positive figures demonstrated the strong post-pandemic recovery of tourism in Da Lat, the capital city of Lam Dong, as streets, eateries and tourist attractions have become busy again, especially during the weekends.

In the first half of 2022, the economy of Lam Dong Province expanded by 9.29%, the second-fastest rate in the Central Highlands and ranking 13th nationwide, of which the services sector grew 12.34%, outpacing agriculture and industrial production.
