The event represented an important international cooperation initiative in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.

The Da Nang–Daegu Business Lounge has been established at the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Centre (58 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City), to introduce outstanding products, solutions, and technologies developed by Daegu-based businesses to Da Nang’s innovation startup ecosystem.

The showcase is expected to serve as a hub linking businesses, startup support organisations, and management agencies in the two localities, creating favourable conditions for technology transfer, investment promotion, market linkages, and the development of an internationally oriented innovation ecosystem.

According to Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu, the Da Nang–Daegu Business Lounge will empower businesses from the two cities to find partners; universities and research institutes to identify areas for cooperation; start-ups to access markets; and investors to discover new opportunities.

Reiterating that cooperation must deliver tangible value, with businesses finding partners, technologies being put into practice, and local people and businesses benefiting from the results of cooperation, Ho Quang Buu pledged that the city would continue to improve its investment environment, strengthen its innovation ecosystem, and create the most favourable conditions for the RoK’s businesses, organisations, and partners to explore the market, invest, conduct research, and develop their operations in the city.
