Visiting and extending New Year greetings to the leaders and people of Da Nang City, Dong Bi Yu, Chinese Consul General in Da Nang, congratulated the Party Committee, authorities, and people of the city on their outstanding achievements in socio-economic development in 2025. She also expressed her desire that the two sides would organise more cultural exchange activities and continue to coordinate and cooperate in many fields. This will contribute to promoting the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two Parties and States in general, and the relationship between Da Nang and localities of China in particular.

During the visit, Mizonova Maria Georgievna, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang, extended New Year greetings of health and prosperity to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of the city. She hoped that the city leaders would pay attention to and support cultural exchange activities between the two sides, as well as promote the teaching and learning of the Russian language in the city.

On the occasion of the traditional Vietnamese New Year, the Consul General of Japan in Da Nang Mori Takero extended New Year greetings of health and prosperity to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of the city.
According to Mori Takero, Japan is very interested in the areas that Da Nang is focusing on developing: microchips, semiconductors, information technology, and high-tech industries; he also expressed confidence that more Japanese businesses will cooperate and invest in these fields in the city in the near future.

He affirmed that the Consulate General of the RoK in Da Nang will continue to accompany and play a positive role as a bridge to promote cooperative relations between Da Nang and Korean localities, businesses, and partners, especially in the fields of tourism, investment, cultural exchange, education and training, and people-to-people exchanges. He expressed his confidence that, with its potential, advantages, and clear development orientation, Da Nang City will continue to further develop.
Nguyen Dinh Vinh expressed his pleasure at the relationship between Da Nang and the RoK. He highly appreciated the practical contributions of many Korean businesses currently investing in Da Nang, affirming that the city will support and create favourable conditions for Korean businesses, investors, and partners to carry out production and business activities effectively. He wished for the friendly cooperative relationship between Da Nang City and its Korean partners to develop more strongly, effectively, and comprehensively.
