Chairman of the Da Nang municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh signed a decision giving the green light to the organisation of fireworks displays at three local venues on the upcoming 2021 Lunar New Year Eve.

The event aims to create a joyful atmosphere, welcome the traditional New Year of the nation, and meet the cultural needs of the people.

The event will also contribute to creating a good impression, spreading and promoting the image of a beautiful and developed Da Nang city to both local people and tourists.

The three venues are the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, the Phuong Trang commercial high-rise complex, and the Hoa Vang district administrative centre area.

Sponsored by Vietnamese real estate developer Sun Group, the 15-minute show will begin at the stroke of midnight on February 12, marking the beginning the first day of the Year of the Ox.

Fireworks will be staged as an artistic fireworks show, using a FireOne firing system with both high, low and special effects fireworks.

In order to carefully prepare for the fireworks shows on Lunar New Year's Eve, the Chairman of the Da Nang municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh requested the relevant units coordinate closely to ensure the event’s success.
