The presentation was carried out in line with directives from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence. A total of 102 portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh were solemnly handed over to grassroots-level localities. Each statue was meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, vividly portraying the calm, compassionate and modest demeanour of the late leader.
The handover of these statues reflects the close attention and support of the Army towards grassroots organisations, while also serving as a significant source of spiritual encouragement for local officials and Party members. The statues are regarded as sacred symbols, inspiring each unit to further promote the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style, and to strive to fulfil assigned tasks with excellence.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Phan Thanh Tam, Deputy Commander of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, stated that the portrait statues were not only finely crafted works of art, but also sacred symbols embodying the trust and high expectations of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence towards grassroots-level officials and Party members.
On behalf of local authorities, Dao Bao Minh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Ward Party Committee of Tuy Hoa, expressed deep gratitude for the attention and support shown by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence. He affirmed that once placed at commune and ward offices, meeting rooms and halls, the statues would serve as constant reminders for officials to uphold revolutionary ethics, self-discipline and dedication in serving the people.
