At the conference, representatives from various agencies and units delivered presentations, drawing lessons from the preparation, organisation, and coordination before and during the exchange, and proposing recommendations to further enhance the effectiveness and quality of future events.
The exchange was not only prominently covered by Vietnamese media, but was also vividly reported by Chinese outlets, reflecting growing attention and an increasingly wide-reaching impact of the Viet Nam–China Border Defence Friendship Exchange in both countries.
Each activity featured clear highlights, reflecting its scale and conveying the shared message of jointly building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and developing border. Through the exchange, solidarity has been strengthened between border management forces on both sides, working together to address emerging issues in border areas in a spirit of friendship, cooperation, and consensus.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang acknowledged and commended the efforts of the agencies, units, and localities that actively engaged in preparations, rehearsals, and the organisation of the exchange with a strong sense of responsibility.
Despite a short and demanding preparation period, the 10th exchange was meticulously organised in a substantive and in-depth manner, highlighting the theme of “Looking back at the past, towards the future”, under the guiding principles of creativity, practicality, efficiency, and thrift.
Over 12 years and through 10 editions, the Viet Nam–China Border Defence Friendship Exchange has become one of the most exemplary models of cross-border defence cooperation, serving as an important political and diplomatic event that contributes to strengthening cooperation and friendship between Viet Nam and China.
On this occasion, the organising committee announced commendation decisions by the Ministry of National Defence, the General Department of Politics, and the General Staff for collectives and individuals who made outstanding contributions in advising, organising, and participating in the 10th exchange.
