During the survey, the Deputy PM and the delegation directly inspected the organisational structure, the number of civil servants, and the capacity of the staff to fulfil their duties in operating the new model at the ward’s Public Administrative Service Centre. This allowed for an initial assessment of operational efficiency, the spirit of serving the people, and the level of application of information technology in handling administrative procedures.
Reporting to the working group, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Trang Bang Ward, Tran Minh Tam, stated that after the administrative reorganisation and operation under the two-tiered local government model, the ward’s officials, civil servants, and employees have gradually adapted to the new requirements, ensuring the effective performance of their duties and fostering a spirit of closeness to and service to the people.
In the first quarter of 2026, the local socio-economic development achieved many positive results. Total state budget revenue in the area reached over 30.2 billion VND, equivalent to 28.77% of the annual plan. The socio-cultural sector continued to be maintained; no households fell back into poverty according to the central government’s standards; the health and education systems received investment, with the ward’s health station and 5 schools meeting national standards. The percentage of people participating in health insurance reached 62.2%.
In addition, social security and environmental sanitation have seen positive changes. The percentage of households using clean and hygienic water reached 68.56%; the rate of household solid waste collection and treatment reached 75.5%, meeting the set target. Land management and administrative procedures have been implemented effectively, promptly meeting the needs of people and businesses.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy PM Mai Van Chinh requested Tay Ninh to continue reviewing and comprehensively evaluating the quality of its staff, civil servants, and public employees; to strengthen the organisational structure towards a streamlined, effective, and efficient system. At the same time, special attention should be paid to developing digital infrastructure and completing databases to promote digital transformation and improve the quality of service to the people.
Regarding Trang Bang ward, the Deputy PM requested the local authorities to proactively review and promptly report any difficulties and obstacles encountered during the operation of the new model so that competent agencies can study and improve mechanisms and policies, aiming to better serve the people and businesses.
