Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum extends opening time at night

The opening time of the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum will be extended on some evenings to meet the growing demand of visitors during the peak periods, especially during holidays, on April 30, May 1, the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7) and the National Tourism Year – Dien Bien 2024.

Specifically, the museum will be open to visitors every Friday and Saturday evening from April 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024.

Particularly on May 6 and May 7 (Monday and Tuesday), the museum will receive visitors during the day and the evening until 9 pm.

According to Director of the museum, Vu Thi Tuyet Nga, based on the number of visitors to the museum in recent times, it is forecast that more tourists will visit the museum during the major holidays and celebrations in the coming months. Therefore, the museum manager decided to extend the opening time of the museum at night.

In March 2024 alone, the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum received 50,433 visitors, including many groups of veterans, officers, soldiers and students.
