The campaign gathers 16 musicians nationwide. The songs will focus on expressing the great historical value and the profound significance of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory for the nation and the era as well as the heroic spirit, creativity, intellectual bravery and determination to fight and win.

In addition, the works will also reflect the country’s achievements in the fields of economics, defence, security, society and culture over the past 70 years.

The participating songs must be composed in musical styles that are legally circulating in Vietnam. The organising committee encourages musicians to explore and create new ideas in musical structure, lyrics, and expression.

The campaign, which takes place from March 22 to 28, is an activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and pay tribute to the soldiers and people who made sacrifices and contributions to the glorious victory as well as honoring the great contributions from Vietnamese people of all generations in the spirit of “Dien Bien Phu Victory”.

The songwriting campaign aims to seek new works with high artistic values to promote the image of the land and people of Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh Province in particular.
