At a press conference on the contest’s results in Hanoi on December 5, the organisers announced that the award ceremony and exhibition opening will be held at the Hanoi Opera House at 8 pm on December 11.

This is the second time the contest has been organised, reflecting the deep care and consistent policies of the Party and State to improve the material and spiritual lives of the people. The contest aims to place citizens at the centre of national progress, ensuring inclusivity and encouraging public participation in national construction and defence.

The contest also provides an opportunity for Vietnamese citizens, overseas Vietnamese, and international friends to express their love for Vietnam through photography and videography. It aims to inspire national development aspirations and showcase the cultural values and strength of the Vietnamese people in the modern era.

The contest attracted 6,863 participants, submitting 10,327 works, including 9,657 photos and 670 videos, a 40% increase compared to the first edition.

Among the participants were 581 international contributors and 265 overseas Vietnamese, submitting nearly 1,000 works.
