Digitising the space of Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch

In the era of strong technological development, digital transformation and digitisation are not only a trend but also a need for museums, to increase accessibility, promote documents and artefacts and attract the public. That is also why the Project on digitising the space of the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch is being implemented.

On August 9, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement to implement the Project was jointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch, in coordination with Vietnam Traveler Magazine, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Meta Art Joint Stock Company in Ho Chi Minh City.

The virtual museum allows visitors to experience it through mobile devices, computers or specialised virtual reality glasses. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with artefacts in three-dimensional space, easily accessing detailed information in a vivid audio and visual space.

The project is being implemented in five phases, starting from October 2023. After the end of the testing phase (August 2024), the project is expected to be inaugurated and awarded in September 2024.
