Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Duc Pho Town Party Secretary Do Tam Hien emphasised that after 50 years of construction and development, with the solidarity, unity, joint efforts and consensus of the entire Party Committee, the entire army and the entire people, Duc Pho has made a strong transformation, the economy has continuously grown at a high level, social security policies have received special attention, and the quality of people’s lives has been significantly improved in both material and spiritual terms.
In particular, after many years of persistently overcoming difficulties, on February 1, 2020, Duc Pho district was officially recognised as a town. This is not only an important milestone for the Party Committee and people of Duc Pho to proudly continue the tradition of their homeland, but also opens up opportunities for the southern gateway land of Quang Ngai province to develop.
In her speech, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van requested the Party Committee and the government of Duc Pho town to be more aware of their mission and responsibility to bring Duc Pho and the whole province firmly on the path of innovation and development.
In particular, it is necessary to continue to preserve, consolidate, and diligently care for and cultivate solidarity within the Party Committee and all classes of people, further promote the will of self-reliance, self-improvement, strongly promote internal affairs, must rely on the people and originate from the interests of the people to bring Duc Pho to develop quickly and sustainably; the people will be more prosperous, happy and peaceful in the coming time.
