The highlight of the festival was a H’mong panpipe performing competition, which attracted the participation of 40 performers from 11 teams from 11 communes in the district.

The panpipe is a cultural symbol of the H’mong ethnic group. It is not only a way to express the performers’ feelings and aspirations but it is also dubbed as a string connecting humans and gods.

According to Chairman of the Tua Chua district People’s Committee Luong Tuan Anh, the festival aimed to introduce and promote the unique culture of ethnic groups in the locality to visitors at home and abroad.
