The market runs from Saturday evening until Sunday and is the meeting venue for H’Mong, Thai and Dao ethnic people, to trade their agricultural products.
Visitors to the market can shop for specialities of Tua Chua district and Dien Bien province, and learn more about the culture and life of the locality.
Nguyen Thi Hoa, a visitor from Hai Phong city, said that she heard about the night market from social media. She was excited to visit the market where she can shop for various types of goods and talk with friendly local people.
Mua A Cua, a H’mong ethnic man from Sin Chai commune, Tua Chua district, shared that in the past, during the harvesting season in autumn, H’Mong people rarely went to the market because they had to work in the fields.
Now, everyone is happy because people can go shopping at the night market and meet brothers from neighbouring communes after a hard-working week.
