On March 26, Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with the Binh Thuan Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, installed Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology chip-embedded boards at famous historical, cultural and tourist attractions in the province.

The Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has overseen the installation at three sites: the Duc Thanh School historical relic and Ho Chi Minh Museum’s branch in Binh Thuan, the Po Sah Inu Tower (Phan Thiet City), and the Bau Trang eco-tourism zone (Bac Binh District)."

At these destinations, tourists using smartphones with internet access can place their phones on the NFC chip-embedded boards to be certified as having checked in at the location, save their photos, and receive useful information about the landmark, monument, or destination.

These chip-embedded boards, designed in the yellow and red of the Vietnamese flag, are self-powered and require no power source.

By tapping their internet-enabled smartphones on the NFC chip-embedded boards, visitors can verify their check-in at the location and save their photos.

Every NFC board offers stories, images, videos, and even 3D models showcasing the historical site or landmark it marks.

Furthermore, the project provides search, navigation, and information features to explore tourist attractions at the current location and surrounding areas.
