On display are silk products combined with lacquer and other materials, introducing visitors to the silk’s journey in the flow of contemporary fine arts. They were created by 24 painters from the Vietnam Fine Arts University.

Several exhibits were borrowed directly from Meritorious Artist Phan Thi Thuan from Phung Xa silk village. Thuan was the first Vietnamese person to successfully weave lotus silk.

The exhibits highlighted different aspects including the history of arts, religious culture, cultural semiotics and psychology.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a wide variety of activities will also be held, such as exchanges and talks with artisans from the traditional craft village, as well as painters and curators, helping viewers learn more about silk and the beauty of the craft village.
