Exhibition marks 65 years of Viet Nam–Cuba diplomatic ties

An exhibition of paintings and photographs marking the 65th anniversary of Viet Nam–Cuba diplomatic relations (December 2, 1960 – December 2, 2025), organised by the Viet Nam–Cuba Primary School in Ha Noi, offered teachers and pupils alike the chance to revisit the golden pages of exemplary, pure and faithful international solidarity between the two nations.

On this occasion, the school presented paintings and photographs created by its pupils, celebrating the special friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Viet Nam and Cuba.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Principal Tran Thi To Trinh emphasised that over the past 65 years, Viet Nam–Cuba friendship has become a noble symbol of solidarity among nations worldwide.

Highlighting the significance of the exhibition, the Principal stated that it was not only a meaningful activity to mark an important milestone in bilateral relations but also an opportunity for teachers and pupils to look back on the golden history of this exemplary, pure and loyal international solidarity between the two nations.

Through each photograph and painting, pupils gain a deeper understanding and pride in Viet Nam–Cuba relations, nurturing in their hearts love, respect and a sense of responsibility to carry forward this precious spiritual legacy.

Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes expressed his delight at attending the exhibition’s opening, stressing that this meaningful event, held on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations, serves as an educational opportunity for the younger generation to learn more about the special friendship and solidarity between Cuba and Viet Nam. He expressed his hope that children would continue to nurture, preserve and develop this special bond.

On this occasion, the Ambassador also conveyed his gratitude to the Vietnamese people for their participation in the campaign in support of the Cuban people under the theme 65 Years of Viet Nam–Cuba Solidarity”.
