This event is part of the annual Green Economic Forum series organised by Saigon Economic Times.
The forum attracted more than 200 attendees from state management agencies, policy research institutes, diplomatic corps, and domestic and foreign enterprises.
Speakers and guests discussed the latest policies and results in Vietnam's green transformation process and found solutions to remove obstacles and bottlenecks in the process of our country's transformation for sustainable development.
According to the Organising Committee, in addition to climate change, the decline of natural resources, environmental pollution, economic losses, increasing inequality and social conflicts, etc., are increasingly obvious consequences of unsustainable development.
At the forum, experts in other fields also shared information on capital sources for green projects and sustainable development; opportunities for businesses to mobilise capital for low-emission growth goals; and experiences in the greening process and greenhouse gas emission reduction.
