President Emmanuel Macron was born on December 21, 1977. He holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Paris Nanterre (Paris X), studied at Sciences Po Paris, and graduated from the prestigious École nationale d'administration (ENA), class of 2002–2004.
From 2004 to 2007, Macron served as a financial inspector at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Between 2011 and 2012, he was a senior executive at Rothschild and Company.
From 2013 to July 2014, he held the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidential Office under President François Hollande.
From August 2014 to May 2016, he served as Minister of Economy and Finance under President François Hollande.
Since May 2017, Emmanuel Macron has been President of France, with his second term beginning in May 2022.
