Before the meeting, General Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation offered incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Cultural House of Brigade 15, expressing respect and gratitude to the beloved leader of the nation.
Speaking at the meeting, General Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that village elders, hamlet heads, esteemed community figures, and religious dignitaries are core forces within their communities, playing a particularly important role in safeguarding the great national unity bloc, promoting cultural traditions, ensuring political security and social order and safety, and advancing socio-economic development.
He emphasised that the Central Highlands is a strategic area for national defence and security, while also holding significant potential in agriculture, processing industries, renewable energy, and tourism.
At the meeting, many village elders, hamlet heads, and religious dignitaries expressed their joy and confidence in the attention of the Party and State. Delegates affirmed that they would continue to fulfil their core roles in the community, actively disseminating and encouraging people to maintain security and order, uphold solidarity, and build a new cultural way of life.
On this occasion, he presented meaningful gifts to village elders, hamlet heads, esteemed community figures, and religious dignitaries as a gesture of appreciation for their significant contributions in mobilising people to effectively implement the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws.
