Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard granted Fatherland Protection Order

On the morning of April 15, in Pleiku City, the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Provincial Border Guard’s Traditional Day (April 15, 1965 - 2025) and received the Second-class Fatherland Protection Order.

With outstanding achievements and important contributions in the country’s revolutionary stages, Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard has three collectives honoured to be awarded the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces by the Party and State, and many collectives and individuals were awarded other noble awards.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Border Guard continued to receive the Second-Class Fatherland Protection Order for the second time. This is a worthy recognition and evaluation by the Party, the State, the Central Committees, Ministries, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People’s Committee for the silent sacrifices, persistent efforts, and glorious achievements of the Gia Lai Border Guard.

Authorised by the State President, Major General Nguyen Duc Manh, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard, awarded the Second-Class Fatherland Protection Order to the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard; the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee awarded the flag for the cause of building and protecting Gia Lai Province to the unit, and also awarded certificates of merit to six collectives and nine individuals with outstanding achievements.
