Gifts to be presented to people with meritorious service on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, the Prime Minister has submitted a proposal to the State President on presenting gifts to nearly 1.4 million people who contributed to the revolution, with a total budget of nearly 420 billion VND.

On June 18, with the authorisation of the Prime Minister, Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung signed Official Dispatch No. 436/TTr-TTg to submit to the State President for consideration and decision on gift giving for people who contributed to the revolution on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - 2024).

Previously, in 2023, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the total budget for giving gifts from the President to 8 groups of people with meritorious services to the revolution was more than 427 billion VND, with nearly 1.4 million people.
