Mesmerising dances
Lasting nearly 30 minutes, the “Symphony of the Sea” show takes place daily at 7:45 pm in the beautiful bay of Love Bridge. With investment from Sun Group and conceived and produced by renowned Australian production company H2O, the show delivers a premium artistic experience centred around world-class performances by 24 “artists on water”, who are world champions and runners-up in jet ski and flyboard competitions. The show features magical laser effects and a spectacular display combining fireworks and water fountains for the first time in Phu Quoc.
“Symphony of the Sea” opens with an energetic and exciting drum performance featuring 18 Malambo drummers from Argentina along with nearly 20 international dancers performing an impressive scarf dance.
Following the opening drums, a laser show transports visitors to another dimension. From there, scenes unfold as if straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster. “Iron men” in LED suits appear on water jet boards, performing aerial acrobatics at heights of up to 15 metres, combined with a spectacular display of fireworks and flares.

Right after the flyboard athletes’ performance comes a poetic greeting from ten LED flag-equipped jet skis parading around the Sunset Bay area. Throughout various segments, these Jet Skis transform into high-speed mobile launching platforms, sending hundreds of fireworks into the sky, creating a mesmerising matrix of light that captivates all viewers.
Most notably, the performance pushes audiences’ emotions to new heights with fireworks launched from the water’s surface, featuring unique varieties such as water-shells and water-cakes. The crowds erupt in cheers and endless applause as the sky and sea surface light up with brilliant colour from the elegant firework blooms. The firework smoke and laser lights then blend together, creating a magical painting that take the audiences’ emotions soaring through Phu Quoc’s night sky, leaving them in constant amazement.

The show features World Music, drawing inspiration from festive sounds. Each rhythm and beam of light ignited excitement, creating an explosive atmosphere. Amidst the high and energetic notes of this ocean symphony, there is a deep, melodious undertone of “Mother's Love” carried by the sound of traditional kites, as kite-mounted fireworks were released by jet skis soaring from the night sea into the sky.
The traditional kite flutes — a childhood memory for generations of Vietnamese people— were reimagined in a new form with sparkling silver fireworks, moving the audience deeply. This was considered a special highlight of this otherwise modern-themed show.
Ms Thu Phuong, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: “This is the first time I've seen such a unique and spectacular show, similar to the that of the Olympics we usually see on TV. The show skilfully interweaves modern performance styles with traditional Vietnamese art — it's a must-see show when visiting Phu Quoc.”

“Symphony of the Sea” also marks a new entertainment milestone for Phu Quoc with fireworks, as each evening, the pearl island generously treats visitors to two spectacular fireworks shows. Right after this show, at 9:30 pm, high-altitude fireworks from the multimedia show “Kiss of the Sea” continue to light up the sky, bringing endless excitement to visitors.
