To win the prize, Vietnam outperformed several strong competitors, including Japan, China, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
At the same awards ceremony recently held in Madeira, Portugal, Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi was named the World’s Best Golf City Destination 2024.
Voting was conducted by golf industry professionals, the media, and the public. Winners were determined based on the highest number of votes received in each category.
Vietnam is considered an ideal golf destination in Asia thanks to its beautiful natural landscapes and tropical climate, which is favourable for developing golf courses and golf tourism.
The country boasts around 100 operational 18-hole golf courses, including 32 that meet international 5-star standards.
