Organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Ha Noi and open to the public free of charge, the programme builds on the success of the “Thai Cultural Days” event, which was held for the first time in Ha Noi in 2025.
Under the theme “Creative Living, Creative Pulse”, the event marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Thailand, celebrating the long-standing friendship between the two countries through culture, creativity and people-to-people exchanges.
Ha Noi is one of six capitals worldwide selected by the Royal Thai Government as host cities for the event, underscoring the city’s importance in Thailand’s cultural diplomacy policy.
The programme features a range of highlights, including cultural performances, culinary experiences and interactive activities. Visitors can immerse themselves in traditional and contemporary Thai dances, Muay Thai martial arts demonstrations, and showcases of traditional costumes from both Thailand and Viet Nam.
Notably, the event will host the exhibition “Traditional Thai Costume: Heritage of Queen Sirikit”, introducing the beauty and heritage value of Thai traditional attire and textiles.
In addition, visitors can experience the Songkran festival space, explore Thai fashion, beauty, lifestyle and handicraft products, enjoy Thai cuisine, and take part in handicraft workshops and traditional games.
Another highlight of the event is the outdoor film screening programme. Audiences will have the opportunity to watch two films, alongside multimedia presentations on Thailand–Viet Nam friendship, as well as exhibition booths showcasing creative products in lifestyle, health and beauty, reflecting the growing economic cooperation between the two countries.
The event is expected to welcome 3,000–4,000 visitors per day, serving as a convergence of culture, creativity and friendship, and offering a unique opportunity to experience Thailand’s vibrant spirit in the heart of Ha Noi.
More than just a cultural showcase, the event symbolises shared prosperity in a new era and stands as a testament to the dynamic and ever-growing friendship between the two countries over the past 50 years.
