The 2022 Me Linh Flower Festival with the theme “Me Linh’s Brilliant Flowers” opened at the Hai Ba Trung Temple special national historical relic in Hanoi’s Me Linh District, on the evening of December 9.

On the occasion, Me Linh District organised a solemn ceremony to receive recognition as a New Standard Rural Area, the 3rd class Labour Medal, and recognition of Hai Bà Trưng Temple as a Special National Relic Site.

Covering on an area of 4,300m2, the exhibition features flowers of all kinds, mostly roses, which will be arranged in 10 clusters at Hai Bà Trưng Temple.

The highlight of the Flower Festival is a 20m-long road with a huge heart-shaped frame covered with local roses together with waterfalls of flowers.

This event is also an opportunity for Me Linh District to display, introduce and promote flowers, flower products, ornamental plants, art installations, and flower decorations of the flower artisans in Me Linh District.

Me Linh District also cooperated with the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) to organise 85 booths for the introduction of craft village products, OCOP products, and typical agricultural products of Me Linh District as well as districts and towns of Hanoi and other regions throughout the country.

The 3-day festival is taking place from December 9-11, and promises to be an attractive destination for tourists.
