The programme officially activated more than 1,000 retail points of sale and 50 “golden promotion points” across the capital.
The 1,000 retail points are a chain of stores in all economic sectors, and the 50 “golden promotion points” are supermarket systems and shopping malls in the city with discounts of up to more than 50%.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee also launched the event "Hanoi Shopping Festival" and the event "Hanoi Mega Sale", taking place simultaneously here with nearly 100 promotional booths with discounts of up to more than 50%.
In addition, there are also attractive exhibition and trade promotion spaces, such as experiencing and testing Vinfast electric cars and an electronic technology space with Mediamart.
Consumers participating in the event will also have the opportunity to receive many free incentives and hundreds of valuable gifts when participating in mini-gameshow programmes.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of HPA Bui Duy Quang said that Hanoi Promotion Month 2024 has attracted the participation of nearly 500 businesses implementing promotional activities in many diverse forms.
The programme is expected to be a special bridge to help connect and support businesses to promote their brands.

The event is scheduled to contribute to promoting the economic development of the Capital and affirming the brand value of a special year-end promotion programme.
Launched in 2009, Promotion Month is a large-scale promotional event held annually in November with the aim of stimulating consumption, promoting production and business activities and economic growth in Hanoi.
The Hanoi Promotion Month 2024 will take place from now until December 30.
