Viet Nam Medipharm Expo 2025 opens in Ho Chi Minh City

The 23rd edition of Viet Nam International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition 2025 (Viet Nam Medipharm Expo) opened in Ho Chi Minh City on July 31, bringing together over 400 exhibitors from 20 countries and territories.

The event, co-organised by VINEXAD and the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association, showcases products and services across 450 booths.

This year’s exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the medical and pharmaceutical sector, featuring a diverse range of products, including medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, functional foods, packaging machinery, beauty devices, cosmetics, and smart health technologies.

The expo saw the participation of companies from the Republic of Korea, such as Sky Softgel Co., Ltd., which specialises in pharmaceutical packaging; VSI Co., Ltd., known for mobile X-ray equipment; and K-One Pharma Co., Ltd., which focuses on pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Notable pharmaceutical firms from India include Caltron Clays & Chemicals, Hetero Labs, and Relco Pharma Chem.

Vietnamese firms also have a strong presence. Key exhibitors include Thanh Truc Medical Aesthetic Equipment Co., Ltd., Lam Viet Scientific Trading Co., Ltd., and TÜV Rheinland Viet Nam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Hua Phu Doan, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association, announced a series of sidelines events taking place during the expo that runs until August 2. These include specialised seminars on topics such as updates to the Pharmaceutical Law and Bidding Law affecting SMEs; accessing green finance for sustainable medical and pharmaceutical production; trends in AI and green technology innovation in Viet Nam’s healthcare sector

The event provides a platform for businesses to connect with experts, policymakers, and partners, helping to address practical challenges and promote sustainable growth in Viet Nam’s medical and pharmaceutical industries.
