Running from October 26 to 29, the fair is one of Asia’s leading business-to-business trade events focusing on environmental protection, green technology and sustainable development.
The expo is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, with support from Hong Kong’s Environment and Ecology Bureau.
Under the theme “Connecting the World for a Sustainable Future,” Eco Expo Asia 2026 centres on four core areas: green energy, green cities, pioneering technologies and waste-to-resource solutions.
The event brings together more than 340 exhibitors from 15 countries and territories, including first-time participants from Viet Nam, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore.
A highlight is the ASEAN Pavilion, which features a wide range of environmentally friendly products and solutions across the four themes of energy, technology, green cities and waste management.
The Vietnamese business delegation, headed by Deputy Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre Doan Truong Giang, presents its products and engages in trade activities at the ASEAN Pavilion.
At the pavilion, Vietnamese businesses highlight their strengths in wastewater treatment technologies, recycled products made from plastics and aluminium, and organic agricultural processing technologies.
Participation in the expo also offers a valuable opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to access advanced environmental technologies, expand their distribution networks and boost exports of green products.
As part of the event programme, Giang held a working session with representatives of the Hong Kong authorities and Messe Frankfurt Ltd.
The meeting aimed to promote Vietnamese environmental technology products, equipment, green solutions and services in international markets in general and Hong Kong in particular.
Discussions with the organisers also sought to establish a dedicated Viet Nam Pavilion at future editions of Eco Expo Asia.
