Ho Chi Minh City art programme highlights Uncle Ho’s great dedication

An art programme was held at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on June 5 to mark the 55-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament (1969-2024), the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890-2024), and the 113 years since Uncle Ho left the country to search for a way to save the nation (June 5, 1911-2024).

The programme, which were elaborately staged, was divided into three parts. They introduced many famous art works highlighting President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to the country’s revolutionary cause as well as Vietnamese people’s respect and sentiment to him.

The programme drew the participation of various famous artists and singers including People’s Artists Thanh Dien and Ta Minh Tam; Meritorious Artists Van Khanh and Pham The Vi; and singers Quang Linh, Ho Trung Dung, Pham Trang, Thanh Nguyen, Duyen Huyen and Vo Thanh Tam.
