At the meeting, Zhao expressed his delight in welcoming the Hung Yen delegation and shared that Shaanxi is one of the cradles of Chinese civilisation with a rich history and famous historical sites.
Currently, there are 180 Vietnamese students studying at 11 educational institutions in Shaanxi. The Chinese province attracted over 5,400 Vietnamese visitors in 2024.
The Shaanxi leader also introduced about the province’s socio-economic development situation and expressed his wish for enhanced cooperation between the two provinces in economics, trade, high technology, digital technology, green economy, agriculture, relic preservation, and cultural exchange.
For his part, the Hung Yen leader congratulated Shaanxi on its socio-economic achievements in 2024 as well as the recent results of cooperation between the two parties, states, and peoples.
Nghia informed Zhao of the purpose of the working trip, which is intended to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation between Hung Yen Province and Chinese localities and enterprises.
He expressed his hope for closer collaboration with Shaanxi to bring substantive benefits to the people of both provinces and both countries.
