At the meeting with Mr Liu Jian Chao, Mr Nguyen Huu Nghia congratulated the achievements that the Party, State and people of China have achieved over the past time and expressed his confidence that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Mr Xi Jinping as the core and guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Party, Government and people of China will certainly fulfil the set tasks and goals, comprehensively build a modern socialist power, and successfully achieve the second 100-year goal.
Mr Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasised that Vietnam and China are friendly neighbours, a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and a community with shared future between Vietnam and China with strategic significance, and both countries follow the path of socialism led by the Communist Party.
Strengthening and developing friendly and cooperative relations with China is a top priority in Vietnam's independent, self-reliant, multilateralised and diversified foreign policy .
Mr Nguyen Huu Nghia also introduced some main features of the socio-economic development situation and achievements of Hung Yen Province and affirmed that the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee wishes and is ready to closely coordinate with Chinese localities to effectively implement the important common perceptions that the senior leaders of the two Parties and the two countries have reached and the joint statements that the two sides have announced.
Mr Liu Jian Chao highly appreciated the major milestones in the history of friendly relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and expressed his pleasure at the strong development trend of bilateral relations in recent years, especially since the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries agreed to elevate to the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and build a Vietnam-China Community with Shared Future.
Mr Liu Jian Chao also highly appreciated the good achievements that both sides have achieved in foreign politics, economic-trade cooperation, investment, culture, education, and humanities exchange, strengthening the social foundation between the two countries, bringing bilateral cooperation to develop more practically, comprehensively, and in-depth.
Welcome the delegation of Hung Yen Province to pay a working visit to China, Mr Liu Jian Chao expressed his appreciation for the friendly neighbourly relationship, the China-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the relation development directions according to the high-level common perception.
He affirmed his desire to further strengthen cooperation between Chinese localities and Hung Yen Province and proposed key fields to be promoted in the coming time, including enhancing sustainable trade exchanges, expanding cooperation in production capacity and deepening cultural and educational cooperation, thereby contributing to continuously consolidating and promoting the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two countries.
